A workshop for endoscopy organized by the Gastro-intestinal Endoscopy Unit - Kasr Alainy Hospital, took place on 10/7/2006 at 10:00 am in the lecture hall of the unit.

The Workshop was under supervision of Prof.Dr.Serag Zakaria and contained the following cases :

• Oesophageal Varices

  • Band ligation

  • Injection sclerotherapy

• Enteroscopy

• ERCP

• Haemorrhoids (band ligation)

The workshop was attended by a group of Arabic and African doctors from Lebanon, Morocco, Tunesia, Sudan, and other countries.

The event was very successful with interesting lectures and vived discussion of the cases.
